Voldemort for most part wants to immortalize himself. Hence, he always go for a kill to create horcrux and rips fragments of his soul.

Few years back, she thought that Voldemort is WRONG. Voldemort didn't know that imparting his soul to help people live rather than killing them will make him immortal rather than killing them.

She didn't like the ways of Voldemort and she wanted to prove him wrong. She did the contrary. She rips her soul to share it to others. And help people live.
